To set long term and short term Sales strategies and ensure vibrant top line and growth in GP Margin.

To oversee DNA (Dealer Network Alignment) & DNE (Dealer Network Enhancement) related activities and create robust network

To achieve financial objective in sales and expenses as per budget, optimize cash flow and working capital, duly controlling DSO, DIO and stock returns.

To motivate sales team, guide, control and manage the sales team to achieve monthly/ yearly sales and collection targets

To Prepare Product X Month wise Sales Budget for approval by top management.

To develop/suggest Schemes/Strategies to not only achieve Annual Business plan but also gain market share year after year

To keep a tab on competitors prices, schemes, promotional activities, new product introductions etc. for initiating appropriate action.

To identify avenues for growth.

To maintain strong PR activities to place Crop Care in the forefront in pesticide industry.

Team building, minimizing attrition and identifying talent internally for taking up higher responsibilities.

To identify training needs of the team and organize programs to enhance professionalism and skillsets.

To convert contacts / relationships into agreements for getting new generation molecules and broad basing the product basket thereof.

To find opportunities to introduce new technology, JV or in licensing with foreign principles for sustainable growth in future.

To maintain a strong relationship with DAE, Ministry of Agriculture, Research Institutes, Agri Universities and Colleges, NGOs etc.

To review and update policies and SOPs for better performance.

We Require

  • B.Sc. in Agriculture from any reputed University.
  • Fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience.
  • Age: 40-50 Years.
  • Excellent knowledge on major product categories in the pesticide industry.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products. This includes market strategy tactics, product demonstrations, sales techniques and sales control systems.
  • Added advantage: MBA from Business discipline.
